The open-air museum offering a unique tour of mining spaces lies on the road between Banská Štiavnica and the village of Štiavnické Bane approximately 1.5 km from the centre of the town. You can walk there on foot along the main street up the hill, heading out of the town. However, be careful, as there is no pavement along the road. Klinger reservoir is just a moment away from the Mining Museum.
