Dúbravy Ski Resort in Ilija with two “anchor” ski-lifts and a canteen with an open fire at the centre is what we recommend for less demanding skiers and for families with kids. The small ski resort with a 450-metre-long ski slope is situated amid beautiful countryside under Sitno hill, the highest hill of the Štiavnica Mountains.
The resort is at an altitude of 520-610 m. a. s. l. and the ski slope is 450 m long. During season the ski slope is regularly groomed by a snowcat. The resort has two ski-lifts EPV-300 of 400 m and 320 m.
In Ilija you can also sledge or teach kids ski. You won’t find many “racers” here; it is rather a family zone. If you arrive to the resort by car, there is a free parking lot right at the ski-lift. There are about 50 parking places. SKI Dúbravy resort also offers rental of ski equipment. And if skiing by day is not enough for you, try evening skiing on a fully lighted slope. Near the slope there is a cosy canteen with an open fire under a shelter.
